Our Story

About trendshotko

We're Australia's most trusted video journalism training provider — built by journalists, for journalists.

Who We Are

Empowering visual storytellers since 2019

trendshotko was founded in Sydney with a single mission: make professional video journalism skills accessible to everyone. We saw a growing gap between traditional journalism training and the fast-moving demands of digital news, and we built a curriculum to bridge it.

Today, trendshotko has trained over 4,200 journalists, content creators, and newsroom teams across Australia — from solo freelancers to major broadcast networks. Our courses are built on real field experience and updated constantly to reflect how news is actually consumed in 2025.

  • Nationally recognised certificates
  • Expert instructors with active newsroom experience
  • Courses for every skill level, from beginner to advanced
